Rental policy

Milos Charters offers a diverse selection of self-drive boats for rent, including those that require a valid boat license and those that do not.

For boats that require a license, drivers must be at least 21 years of age and possess an international boating license along with a translated copy of their national license if they are non-Greek residents. This is a legal requirement in Greece, and all license documentation must be presented at the time of boat pick-up. Non-Greek residents must contact their embassy prior to renting a boat to obtain the necessary license documentation. Learn more about the boats that require a license for operation here.

For those who do not possess a boating license, we also offer self-drive boats that do not require one. These are ideal for individuals who want to enjoy a leisurely day out on the water without any additional requirements. However, drivers must still be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving license. The self-drive boats without a license can be found here.

All of our boats are outfitted with essential safety equipment, such as life jackets and first aid kits, and are routinely maintained to ensure their secure and dependable operation. We also provide a thorough briefing on the boat’s operation, safety measures, and the local boating rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

If you have any inquiries about our rental process or license requirements, please do not hesitate to contact our team. We are always pleased to assist you in any way we can. Thank you for considering Milos Charters for your boating adventure!
