An abandoned mine on Milos Paliοrеma beach is known as Thiorichia, which means "sulfur mines". The mine produced huge amounts of sulfur and other minerals until the mid-twentieth century, when it was shut down. Old carts and other mining gear, old railways from the mountainside to the small harbor, stone structures, and rusting tools are all remnants of a bygone period. Its symphony of multicolored hues found nowhere else on Milos, as well as the crystal blue waves of the seaside will make this one place you will never forget.
We at Milos Charters know what it means to be by your side. That's why customer service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
